Use this motivational and inspirational mantra to help get you through your next long run, hard workout, or just life in quarantine. Keep reading.

“This is tough AND so am I.”

This was the mantra I kept repeating on my long run tonight but it’s also super pertinent to life in quarantine right now

There’s a similar saying that’s like “life is tough but so are you” that I started off with, however I just couldn’t do the BUT.

Mantra for Motivation During Hard Times

In that statement, BUT has such negative connotation, like this hard thing that you’re going isn’t really serving you BUT you’ll get through somehow.

Replacing it with AND feels more abundant, more empowering; like you’re nonchalantly saying you have no doubt in your mind you’ve got this. *praise hands*

This is tough AND so am I.

These little mindset games and reframes can make all the difference if you take the time to put them into place. Although next time I won’t push off my long run until after I’ve been sitting all day.

What story can you reframe this week?
