This was the mantra I kept repeating on my long run tonight but it’s also super pertinent to life in quarantine right now

There’s a similar saying that’s like “life is tough but so are you” that I started off with, however I just couldn’t do the BUT.

Mantra for Motivation During Hard Times


In that statement, BUT has such negative connotation, like this hard thing that you’re going isn’t really serving you BUT you’ll get through somehow.

Replacing it with AND feels more abundant, more empowering; like you’re nonchalantly saying you have no doubt in your mind you’ve got this. *praise hands*

This is tough AND so am I.
